Christine:

I want to tell you how much a difference you are making in this life of a fifty year old woman in a little town in N California. This post for instance, it comes at exactly the right time in my life. Each of your rogue points are telling me to stand up and be me! I have battled bulima for many, many years. The war is now becoming a “cease fire” as I am discovering the real me. It began last June when I began working with Bridgette, as my life coach, she introduced me to your web site and music. I run with your music, I hear the inspirational words in my sleep “That way won’t work anymore”, as I leave my old tattered life thoughts behind. I am now about to embark on signing up for Martha Beck’s Live Coaching. It scares me to death, but it totally excites me even way more. It is HUGE for me. I have been a lowly state employee at a university, but now I am beginning to feel so empowered, that I am planning an eventual exit from that job. Your website is extremely helpful in my life. This is a thankyou for what you do. You are the best at what you do!

Christine,
Great list. I am proud to say I have already ticked (or am still ticking) a lot of these off (every day) :-) Yay to me!
I am grateful to you – tick. I delighted in my boys hugs this morning. Tick. I am having a great day. Tick. I don’t have parking meters around me (the advantage of living in the country), but I let my change linger in other places. Tick. I encourage my colleagues, my boys etc. Tick. I decide, every day, to do the things that make me happy and make me a better person. Tick. I bring it and I expand. Tick.
Thanks a bunch. And enjoy your silence.
Miranda

Love it!!

I’ve been thinking a lot about my word for 2010. My 2009 word – Abundance – made such an impact on my life and my family. Before I noticed all the Abundance in my life, I was played small and felt sorry for myself.

Abundance changed everything!!

Brilliant list! The one that made me laugh, “Stop being a hooker”. I printed this to put up in office. ;)

Christine, thank you for this wonderful post. Today I am doing 2 of these things. I’ve DECIDED to go to a Womens’ Celebration retreat, and I am EXPANDING by sharing a hotel room with someone I have never met. Scared, YES. Liberated, HELL YES!

I freakin’ love this post. I’m totally printing it out after I add a few dozen more of my own. This should become the greatest meme in history, I think. Everyone should add more at their own blogs or via Twitter and I’d betcha by Christmas we’d have a kick-ass book. What do you think, Christine?

Thanks, Christine, for all you teach! and model! Used to think that silence was a waste of time. That’s because I used to be a hooker with a PhD! Hugs,

Hi Christine..just wanted to say thanks for this post – and the posts it lead me to! I have been ‘tryíng’ to give up coffee for a long time..without much long term joy – until I linked to your posts How to Give up Coffee Part I and Part II – and I am now into Day 4 of my Freedom from Coffee and I can honestly say there is no going back! I don’t know exactly what you said that clicked with me, probably the final paragraph about changing my approach from Giving up Coffee, to Gaining more Energy, or something…anyway THANKS! xox
