Diana Wortham Theatre is an amazing place to see a show. It’s a beautiful 500 seat theatre in Pack Place right in downtown Asheville.

Hike Pisgah Forest. See great waterfalls. Watch the leaves turn orange and red. Eat breakfast at Tupelo Honey and dinner at The Laughing Seed. Take a weekend away from it all! Bring your dog! She’ll love you for it!
5. Asheville is one of the last places in the U.S. where weird is normal.

I sooo wish I could go. We’re going to be in WV at The Gathering, a hiker convention, that weekend. Deborah (Belcher) and I were talking about going to see you together, and I was so disappointed when I realized it was the same weekend as The Gathering.

And we’ll even be up in the mountains that weekend – but in Blowing Rock, which is a rather far drive after a concert in Asheville.
As far as #6 is concerned – I vote for the road trip!

I too wish I could be at the show on the 13th, but I’ll be at the same conference as Waterfall – who I happened to have met on the Appalachian Trail in 2000! When are you planning to play Chattanooga again?
