guess what berkeley does as soon as i grab the coat? runs and hides under the bed.
the only remedy if i want him to go outside? i open the door, stand outside (coat extremely hidden of course) and say on yer mark, get set, go!!!
he races outside and acts like he mastered the coat wearing obligation. nope. i throw it on him once outside.
maybe he’s teaching me he doesn’t need it. but with windchill below zero, the mom in me says ‘i know better’…
:)
curious what happens to others when trying to adorn their furry loved one in a warm fuzzy….(b/c that’s what a good pet mom/dad does right? ha. )

Actually I think he has poor taste – he does not look too good in that coat – I mean realy would you wear anything remotely like that? (well not in pubic anyway) – Could be grounds to be reported to the RSPCA here in the UK-something plain would have been so more chic!

OOps meant to type public not pubic = though have to say it did make my comment a wee bit more interesting

Elaine (uk) you ought to know better dogs – are loving and cute and true firends – but very rarely smart – cats are the superior beings!

Tre, When I put his coat on my beagle mix, he looks at me with a very, very embarassed look that says “Come on, you MUST be kidding, right?” Then he walks down the street in a sulking-like manner.
