Rain & Mud & Wild & Green was recorded in New York City with Ben Wisch. It's the most fun I've ever had recording. That's because the musicians who came to the studio were so dedicated to the creative process and to making a unique contribution to each song. Richard Shindell stopped by to sing on "She Don't Like Roses." And Larry Campbell plays guitar on just about every song. Border's Books and Music voted this CD as one of the Top 5 CD's of 2003 in the Folk Category.
