This Time Last Year

This is my very first CD. I recorded it in the basement of another Asheville musician named Richard Birt. Richard is a great guitar player and he made these songs come to life. I'll admit that I was terrified and uncomfortable a lot in the studio. But I still smile at the life and "realness" that came through on this recording. It's like reading your old journal entries and being suprised at those moments of clarity and wisdom, while also cringing at those moments of abject stupidity! Some people tell me that this is still their favorite CD of mine. David Wilcox sings on two of the songs, and his voice lends so much to their integrity.
