Another Women's Retreat Scheduled in 2008 - Christine Kane

A fifth Great Big Dreams women’s retreat has been added to the schedule this year.

The first three retreats that were scheduled this year (March, June, and October) sold out quickly.

That leaves the December retreat. (December 27, 28, 29)

Because the December retreat is smack dab in the middle of the holidays, many people can’t come to that one. (For those who do come, however, it’s a fantastic alternative to left-over fruitcake and the same ol’ New Year’s Resolutions!)

So, I’ve scheduled another retreat on the weekend of November 14 – 16, 2008. Mid-November is still a beautiful time in Asheville, and the weather hasn’t gotten too cold. (Note: I made the announcement of this retreat to my mailing list yesterday, and the single rooms are already sold out.)

Wow. And I didn’t even pay you all to write those cool things! Thanks! 🙂

Linda – I don’t really go to Los Angeles. But I’ve had lots of Southern Californians fly to Asheville for the retreats! Thanks for the note!

I just read your January 23rd entry on “Upheaval,” and I so would like to attend a seminar. I wonder if you will ever come to Los Angeles.

I went to the June retreat this year with no idea what I was getting myself into… turned out to be one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. The impact the retreat has had on my life in just a few weeks in amazing, I can’t wait to see what will happen over the next months and years. I’m going back in December! Trust yourself–if you feel its the right thing, then go for it!

Just signed up for the December retreat and will now add some gold stars in the appropriate squares of my calendar. Like Lisa, my first retreat was the December ’07 weekend. Looking back on the past 6 months, I see that weekend as an important incubation time for some wonderful developments in my professional and personal life.

I was a little worried about the weekend beforehand — sometimes meeting “new friends” can be a little intimidating. I needn’t have worried. The attitude of the weekend is really gentle, accepting and warm. If you’re in doubt, take the plunge. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

…and you get to drive on the wrong side of the road (I’d always wanted to do that!)!

…oh and the exchange rate is great!

Mimi – if you live in the UK and want someone to travel with you I’m your gal! (as I live in the UK) – it’s really worth the trip (REALLY – it changed my life!) I know about the flights/transfers etc if you’re ever interested!

Ditto on the ‘just sign up’ comments. Went in dec of 07 – amazing amazing. Then did the eseminar right afterwards – again amazing.

    Changed my life.

In 6 months I’ve sold my house and bought a new one that is perfect for me. And it was all rather effortless and fun and it worked out to be a huge positive financial transaction to boot (I refused to buy in to the fear over our economy)

The power of intent is huge. Christine’s eseminar/retreat provided me with the tools and language I needed to get my life on track I wanted it.

I will see you in December. I am totally looking forward to escaping right after the holiday for some rejuvenation time for myself and to align my thinking for the new year! Come on everyone sign up for November or December – what better holiday gift could you give yourself?!

Mimi, I attended retreats June of last year and again this year. I also took the e-seminar this past fall. Whether or not you can make it to Asheville to take part in a retreat in person, I highly recommend the e-seminar.

In the e-seminar, connecting with people who shared a common intent (to live our great big dreams) was really powerful for me. And I enjoyed having six or seven weeks to develop my Great Big Dreams and how to go about living them. I still refer to my seminar materials and continue to find new tools and lessons in them as I grow and evolve.

At the time I took the e-seminar, Christine was offering a money-back guarantee after a week or two, if a participant decided it wasn’t for them… Christine, are you still offering that?

Heck Mimi, After the e-seminar, you may find that you attract/manifest more than enough to cover the trip to the US for a retreat!

    Wishing you the very best!

  • Christine Kane

Thanks Petra and Sue for the extra unpaid publicity! 🙂 And mimi – well, there have been several people from Europe at both the retreats and the e-Seminar. We even had a New Zealander at the retreat! (I think the exchange rates are pretty amazing right now!)

  • Mindful Mimi

I am so jealous of all you people who get to go. Living in Europe doesn’t make attending easy. I’ve thought about attending the e-seminar, but it’s not the same. Maybe next year, when my kids a year older and I have some money to pay for the travel too 🙂
    Have a great seminar Christine.

Ditto!! This retreat was an inspiring awakening for me. Can’t say enough good things about it or about the way it is led by Christine. Very very cool 🙂

to anyone out there on the fence about this, I have one suggestion–JUST SIGN UP! After mulling it over and vacillating and making excuses, I finally signed up for one (and it even fit into my schedule perfectly!) I am so glad I did this. The support is incredible and I learned so many things about myself–and I keep learning! I found the retreat to be a very inspiring, intense, and empowering experience.
